I am an empirical economist interested in measuring and understanding how firms are created, compete, adapt and grow.
I currently work at the UK Competition and Markets Authority's (CMA) researched-focused Microeconomics Unit. I am also affiliated with King's College London (KCL) and the Economic Statistics Centre of Excellence (ESCoE).
In the past, I have worked at the Office for National Statistics (ONS), the Cabinet Office (on secondment) and Nuffield College, University of Oxford. I hold degrees from the London School of Economics (LSE) and Yale University.
This website hosts my research and public writing. All opinions are my own and do not necessarily represent those of the CMA.
